Site Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities

– Own reliability, performance, and scalability across Android (Kotlin), iOS (SwiftUI), and backend APIs.

– Build end-to-end observability (metrics/logs/traces), define SLI/SLO/SLA, and maintain reliability dashboards.

– Instrument mobile apps (Crashlytics/Sentry, Firebase Performance, MetricKit) and analyze traces with Xcode Instruments & Android Profiler/Perfetto.

– Optimize startup time, rendering, memory, network, and caching on both platforms (Coroutines/Flows, Combine/async-await).

– Establish CI/CD for mobile (Fastlane, signing, TestFlight/Play, phased rollout) and APIs (canary/blue-green, autoscaling, rollback).

– Run performance/load testing (k6/JMeter), capacity planning, and cost/perf optimization.

– Lead incident response/on-call, publish blameless postmortems, and drive remediation.

– Partner with Security on ISO 27001/27017 controls, secrets management, and privacy compliance.

Required skills and experiences

– 5+ years in SRE/DevOps or Mobile Performance; strong understanding of Kotlin and/or Swift/SwiftUI runtimes and threading..

– Hands-on with APM/observability stacks; expert in Instruments & Android Profiler/Perfetto..

– CI/CD expertise (GitHub Actions/GitLab/Jenkins, Fastlane); scripting in Python/Bash (Go is a plus).

– Solid knowledge of HTTP/2/3, gRPC, caching/CDN, resilience patterns.

– Good teamwork ability, able to work under pressure.

– Good at English communication.

Preferred skills and experiences

– Kubernetes/Terraform, service mesh, OpenTelemetry; FX/Stock/Crypto Trading system domain experience.
