Job overview and Responsibility

We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Agile team. The role is responsible for translating business requirements into well-designed tests, ensuring product quality, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and monitor workload transparently
• Provide accurate task estimations and meet agreed deadlines
• Report progress, risks, and blockers to the team
• Collaborate closely with team members, sharing ownership of delivery commitments
• Support the Agile Team Lead/BA in clarifying and explaining acceptance criteria
• Estimate and break down backlog items into logical tasks
• Translate backlog items into well-designed test cases
• Design story-level tests aligned with functional and non-functional requirements
• Conduct test design walk-throughs to ensure shared understanding
• Execute tests and maintain documentation (metrics, issues, test reports, traceability)
• Apply Agile testing best practices, tools, and techniques
• Work proactively with developers to test early in alignment with the Definition of Done
• Demonstrate working functionality during Sprint Reviews
• Ensure minimal escaped defects by maintaining quality within the team.

Must have skills and experience:

• Strong commercial experience as a QE
  • Senior: at least 5 year of experience in technical
  • Middle+: at least 4 year of experience in technical
• Proven experience in software testing processes and best practices
• Experience working within Agile teams
• Strong understanding of Agile testing practices and SDLC
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and schedule
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to communicate well in English with foreign clients
• Clear communication skills for reporting needs and answering technical and service questions. 
• Experience working with foreign companies, in particular, Australia
