Job Description
We’re building an AI-powered voice interview platform that conducts real-time conversational interviews in French. The system uses cutting-edge AI services (Deepgram, Groq/Llama, Cartesia, OpenAI) orchestrated through WebSocket connections to create natural, human-like interview experiences.
What You’ll Do
● Develop real-time WebSocket handlers for concurrent sessions
● Implement session isolation to prevent conversation bleeding between users
● Develop turn detection logic with grace periods and barge-in support
● Build audio processing pipelines (STT → NLU → TTS)
● Integrate multiple AI APIs (Deepgram, Groq, Cartesia, OpenAI, Daily.co)
● Design and implement proper conversation state management
● Handle transcript storage with Redis caching and database persistence
● Ensure data consistency between runtime cache, Redis, and PostgreSQL
● Build evaluation pipeline (retrieve → process → store results)
Testing & Quality:
● Test interview flows in French (basic conversational ability required)
Tech Stack
Must Have:
● Python expertise (async/await, WebSockets)
● Java knowledge (Spring Boot, WebSocket handling, concurrency)
● WebSocket real-time communication (both client & server)
● Redis caching and pub/sub patterns
● PostgreSQL/Supabase database operations
● REST API integration with external services
● Async programming patterns and concurrency control
● French language – conversational level (B1/B2) for testing purposesLocation
